Preschool at St. Wendelin's
Our preschool is modeled after the Montessori Method. The Montessori Method supports a mastery learning model which allows your children the opportunity to have experiences and work with materials at a pace that matches their ability and readiness to learn. Teachers present new concepts as the child demonstrates their ability to move on.
Little Learners, Big Dreams
They may be tiny, but they are ready for big things! We believe even our youngest ones are ready to dream big and learn every day, while still having tons of fun! We know that when your children develop a strong confidence in themselves, they are able to make remarkable strides in all areas of learning.
We hope your child will join us!
Preschool Program Highlights
We strive to provide an education experience that allows for the physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and social development of each child.
We keep a calm environment that’s conducive to learning, because so much of our world today is overstimulating and fast-paced.
We welcome children of all faiths to our preschool program. Our preschool friends will:
-
learn about God’s love and basic Bible stories.
-
develop a positive self-concept.
-
learn respect, responsibility, and cooperation.
-
develop social skills.
-
learn new skills and improve skills already known.
-
develop a sense of creativity.
-
learn to feel comfortable in group activities.
-
develop a positive attitude towards school.
- learn independence and self discovery.

Is it worth the cost?
“We are grateful for the authentic Catholic education our children are receiving at St. Wendelin’s school. The Montessori approach allows our children to work, develop and learn at their own individual pace academically. Fr. Matthew, Fr. Erik, St. Wendelin’s staff and volunteers treat my children as if they were their own.”
