A Foundation Built on the Rock
We respect that finding the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. While there are many options for you to consider, we believe our small classrooms, caring teachers and sound education based on Montesorri principles will help your child develop a solid foundation of education, faith, and service.
If you would like to discuss all of the benefits of your child attending St. Wendelin School, our principal, Lynn Rasmussen, would be happy to talk with you. You can call the school at (320) 251-9175 to set up an appointment at any time.
Step 1 // Schedule a Tour
If you’re interested in scheduling a tour of our facilities, we’d love to have you come and visit us. We’ll give you a full tour of our building, as well as introduce you to some of our incredible staff. We desire for you to feel completely comfortable about sending your child to St. Wendelin School. Give us a call or send us an email today to set up your personal tour.
Step 2 // Fill Out an Application
When you’re ready to begin the process of enrolling your child, we invite you to fill out our short and easy application. Once you’ve completed the form, we’ll reach out to you to connect and take the next steps on your child’s journey to becoming a student at St. Wendelin School.
Step 3 // Consider your Financial Investment
Is a Catholic education worth the investment? We believe absolutely yes. Our mission at St. Wendelin is to make quality Catholic education available and accessible to all who value it. We will not turn away families due to financial need. When you come in to tour, we’ll chat about tuition and discuss potential scholarship opportunities for your family, if necessary.
Step 5 // Celebrate!
We prefer ice cream, but you can decide how to celebrate this exciting step in your child’s education and faith formation! We’ll be working with you and your child to help ensure you all feel comfortable and welcomed here at St. Wendelin. We are SO happy you’re here. Want a sneak peek into being a St. Wendelin kid? We can't wait to meet your family!

Parents of 6 (3 who currently attend St. Wendelin’s)I am grateful for the authentic Catholic education my children are receiving at St. Wendelin's school. The Montessori approach allows my children to work, develop and learn at their own individual pace academically. The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program is something I am most excited about because it is hands-on learning of the faith and it helps deepen my children's understanding and love of Jesus and His church. Fr. Matthew, Fr. Erik, St. Wendelin's staff and volunteers treat my children as if they were their own.

Parents of 2 St. Wendelin’s studentsIt has been amazing to watch our girls flourish at St. Wendelin’s School. We see the benefit of the Montessori method. The quality of work brought home by our daughters is proof that they are learning beyond their years. We are grateful for the instruction they receive at St. Wendelin’s School.

Parent of a 3rd grader and two St. Wendelin’s graduatesSt. Wendelin’s has been a wonderful school for our three children. My oldest two children have graduated from St. Wendelin’s and it is evident that the school provided them with a great foundation so they can excel in their middle school environment. Our youngest child is currently a third grader and thrives in the small classroom settings where one-on-one assistance is readily available to her when she needs it. As parents we appreciate the frequent communication we receive from the school which empowers us to be active participants in her everyday learning and the school community as a whole.
